Happy 8 Cafe

what i did during the weekend in Ipoh?
eat, study (abit), eat, drink coffee and eat.
recently i saw some peoples post on facebook about the "cafes to visit in Ipoh"
so i pick this! Happy 8 Retreat
im lost before reaching this cafe, the road is all one way so i keep going round and round, and this cafe is hidden somewhere is the corner.
they don have an attractive signboard, don even have any thing that written their shop name, only a 8 sign.

the cafe interior is a kind of wooden/nature feel, trees and wooden table
you can hear some water flowing sound, its like having a cup of coffee in the forest.
they served limited selections of coffee, and western food as well.
i ordered cappuccino and vietnamese coffee.
Highly Recommed the Vietnamese Coffee

M Boutique Hotel Ipoh

yuhoo, another weekend.
my VIP had job in Ipoh, since its on weekend, and i've no class, i just bumped into the car together.
he booked the M Boutique Hotel, once i stepped into the Hotel, i was so impressed with the decoration.
Vintage but not old style, its small but so class and creative.

M Boutique is in corner unit, and Old Town Signature White Coffee share the place with the hotel, another door linked to hotel.

wondering its a Hotel or a Boutique?
BOTH.
M Boutique have their own brand as well.
in the Lobby they are selling their own products such as polo tee, notes books, household products like handmade soap and some accessories.

the sofas in the lobby is nice and comfortable, hahaha, its just a sofa in Lobby.

when i was sitting there, i saw there's two pairs of couple were having their photo shooting in the Hotel.

very nice place for photo shooting, the lighting is perfect.

small but cozy room.

you know what? sometimes design of a room is very important.

the space of the room isnt big but i don feel narrow at all.

tv, fridge, hotpot, everything is complete in this small room, every moring provides 3 bottles of snacks.

and the BEST is, the Bathroom.

comes in black and white colour, its perfect!

although there got no bathtub but the design is simple and clean.

i even thought of wanna transform my room exactly like this, especially the bathroom.

its only RM170-200 per night for the room, its worthy!

first day breakfast, M Boutique Restaurant.
look at the environment..
such a leisure morning for me *loveee

and the second day breakfast, we decided to go Old Town Signature.
see? its totally different with the normal Old Town.

Taiwanx5 - Day 6789 Taipei

alright, so basically day 6 7 8 9 was in Taipei

we travel from Taichung to Taipei by bullet train, took around 1 hour.

i chose to stay inside Ximending, best place to stay.

near train station, plenty of choices of food, shopping is just few step away.

check out the hotel website, pretty cheap, most important it was clean and comfortable.

okay, review back to the last 4 days in Taipei.

places i've been?

JiuFen九份-old street, must go in Taipei. also one of the tourist spot in Taiwan. suggest to go in the afternoon, by the time you walk up there you will be able to see the beautiful sunset.

WuFenPu五分埔- clothes and shoes wholesale. Must Go place in Taipei, but do not go on Monday, they only accept wholesale on Mon.

GuangHwa IT Mall光华商场 - you could grab cheap IT stuff here, yes! i bought my Sony NEX-5N here. they don really like negotiation, but ask for more gifts.

Taiwan University台湾大学 - my Papa's University, brought him back there to walk around. so in that time, he's our tour guide.

Night Markets

Shilin Night Market 士林夜市 - Shilin Station. 

RaoHe Night Market 饶河夜市 - suggest to go after WuFenPu, because its nearby. so you could spend one whole day with only 2 places but able to make your wallet empty!

ShiDa Night Market 师大夜市 - TaiPower Building Station 台电大楼站. come out from the station on the right side there's a small shop selling mantou, try that!

Taiwanx5 - Day 5 Taichung YehLiu

Time flies~~ 

It's already Day 5 in Taiwan, half of my Taiwan trip gone.

So I'm gonna spend the energy and time to the max!

Previously I came to Taiwan I only did shopping and did not really look deeply into Taiwan.

So this time I took the opportunity this time to know more about Taiwan with my family.

Move on to another famous tourist spot in Taiwan, Yehliu 野柳.

In Yehliu there's numbers of sea-erosion rock formation, the best know is the Queen's Head, Fairy's Shoe and some other funny funny formation.

After spending most of the energy in Yehliu, walked around the entire huge place, we all were in a low battery status.

We fell a sleep in the car, after a short nap. So let us do something a lil more relax.

We stopped at ShiFen Train Station 十分车站.

ShiFen is not that famous as JiuFen, but recently ShiFen is slowly heating up because of the movie, You're an Apple of my Eye 那些年，我们一起追过的女孩.

Famous activity here was KongMeng Lattern, write down your wish on the Lattern, heat up and let it fly to the sky. 

Another special point for this train station was, the railway is actually in use, there are still train passing by. 

Taiwanx5 - Day 4 Taichung

Hello TaiChung, 

Again we took the High Speed Bullet Train from KaoShiung to TaiChung.

This time we meet up with my cousins.

First stop will be at, Qing Jing Farm, 情境农场.

On the way up to Qing Jing Farm, we stopped half way there and had lunch.

We were AMAZED by this scene, wonderful view.

Here comes the Qing Jing Farm. 

Which is another place with lots of wonderful view and meh meh sheeps.

This place is highly recommended for tourist, or those couple who had thoughts to pick up pre wedding shoots in Taiwan.

Hello meh meh <3 

They are so adorable.

They had few vending machine selling the food pallets, around $20 NTD, one big pack.

But be careful when you buying the food, they (sheeps) always have their eyes on the vending machine, once they know you're buying food, they will run to you and may accidentally bang into you, like how I got banged, sob sob.

They don mean it, is just they want the foooooood.

Once I walked out from the farm, immediately I miss the meh mehs.

I will definitely come again, it will be one of the place for my pre wedding photoshoot *laugh*

Here comes to the Sun Moon Lake, one of the famous tourist spot in Taiwan.

Emm, maybe we did not walk down there and have a look, it seems just like a normal lake.

It's different from the photo, cause it showed it was purple in colour. 

A lil bit disappointed. Maybe I will look clearer next time, as I mentioned, I will be back. 

Alright, it's almost sunset time.

In order to get to yuren pier, we tooled the boat to Lover Bridge ❤️

Then walk a cross, you can see a beautifully pier with sunset.
