Ben & Lynette Ipoh

during the 2 days 1 night trip back to Ipoh, i managed to squeeze some time to visit Ben & Lynette which occupies a beautiful bungalow, a little tuck away in back lanes.

Ben & Lynette is actually run by the same group that manage Secret Garden (which is just beside B&L) and MyGopeng Resorts.

B&L capitalizes more on all-day breakfast, pasta, pizza, pastries, breads, desserts, salads, coffee and etc

unfortunately we came after dinner, so i couldnt get to try the main course.

so the main purpose is to try out their beverage and cakes

looks vintage and elegant this mansion, upper floor is their office, they might able to crowd 20-30ppl the most as they used only side of the building.

DIY salad bar, which you can easily customize your preferred salad and sandwiches, anytime.

surprisingly, prices is similar to KL
meaning, no escape from inflation, hahaha
will be back next time to try out their main course and see what's cooking!

Acme Bar and Coffee

Acme Bar and Coffee as known as ABC started the business in year 2011.

Previously i read some review about ABC so i decided to try it out myself.

so i made my way there together with my cousins.

walking into this restaurant, the most striking things was the interior design and decoration, nice old fashion, antique decor with little bit of Hawaiian style.

We were greeted by the beautiful counter upon entering, and its better to make reservation as we were there about 3pm and its nearly full-house.

the workers there are mostly Filipino, one thing good they are able to understand and speak fluent english.

come back to the food

food was average. it wasnt bad, but it wasnt delicious either. 

dont get me wrong, i mean for the price we paid, we could get a better one.

i ordered Macaroni & Cheese, and it was tasteless, for real.

and the feedbacks from my cousins also so-so only.

but one thing i have to say, the Sizzling Brownies with Oreo Ice-cream is GOOD!

- the Sizzling Brownies with Oreo Ice-cream is GOOD! and thats the only thing will attract me to go back.

- the Jazz music that they're played is so nice & feel so relaxing

here comes another weekend

ask me where did i spend my weekend?

eat, eat, drink, drink *tsk tsk*

i spent my weekend very well *grin*

alright, so i went to SOHO KL

at first i headed CAFE BENE, luckily not many people around 3-4pm

and then it was dinner time then Palsaik Korean BBQ came to my mind

so we headed there immediately and we have to wait even that early

FYI weekend included friday doesnt take any reservation.

what's nice in Palsaik Korean BBQ?

Unique isnt? *palsaik mean 8 colour in korean language*

what flavour they have? let's see

they have only sets with pork and few ala carte like fried rice and etc

we ordered the set included 8 colours pork, seafood stew and vegetables.

price rm112 for 3-4 person.

but for the pork, good smell but it doesnt taste that heavy

some flavour i cant tell what exactly it is

but pork itself is pretty good enough keke

my suggestion for you, go there earlier, its getting more and more people when we leaving about 1030pm.
for this, i highly recommend the Brownies, superb!
the Chocolate is warm, the brownie is so soft
